In an attempt to show my undying love for my God, I spent almost 4 years studying and researching theology and my Religious Faith. My goal was to answer the hardest questions that I had encountered through clients I had counseled (as a Christian Counselor) of which those that troubled me the most. I decided that my God would give me the answers I needed. And, I prayed relentlessly and kept myself as pure as possible during that time, as to not confuse my understandings and what I researched. I even went as far as learning some Greek (Koine) as well as Hebrew (still own a few dictionaries from each language) so that I could interpret the purest translations from the Old and New Testaments. Even as a Liberty University Student working on my Masters Degree there, I made good use of their research library and resources when I was on campus. My Theology studies pushed me further into learning much more history. And, I ended up where this Pastor did. Upon theorizing that God did not exist, I did a very similar thing as this Pastor. I spent about one year making a diary, and NOT petitioning or praying to God. Amazingly, my life was the same. Nothing bad happened. God never showed me his wrath. But, it pushed me further into studying neuroscience and neurobiology. And, as a hypnotist and psychologist looking deeper into the mind, I began to realize the obvious. When you (as many do from childhood) pray without ceasing, Give God the glory, in good times and bad.....and, tell God all your problems, etc..., over time your brain develops neuropathways that literally invent the very God you have imagined and petitioned. And, when your friends, family and neighbors hallucinate in the very same fashions, it is AMAZING what the human brain conjures up. No doubt, after years of developing your Faith, every indoctrinated Christian can pass a lie detector test that they have experienced God. As, your brain supports this very lucid hallucination. Amazingly, Taoists, Buddhists and Muslims can pass the very same tests, as their mind / body has developed identical patterns to support their Gods as well. The Human Mind is amazingly complex, but incredibly easy to use.
