In conversation with the Hammer This morning I was dressed - TopicsExpress

In conversation with the Hammer This morning I was dressed down by one of my idols , and usually when I am set upon by an uninformed person I attack , I just couldnt . I am not impressed with celebrity any more that was part of my youth . I always thought that celebrities were shallow and had no idea of what they were saying and I could never take them seriously and I dont . There are a few who I would listen to but I would never take them as seriously as a person of substance . It came to me as I read her diatribe that she has been sheltered from life by sycophants and hangers on who take everything she says seriously and are afraid to tell her the truth for fear of being disliked by her , this makes her like a child who never has to face the world because mommy and daddy hide the truth from them . To live such a sheltered and inconsequential life is sad . You can never know the truth because you are never told the truth . The celebrities I would listen to are the ones vilified by the press , like Ricky Gervais , Alec Baldwin , and yes Charlie Sheen . I would listen but I would take them no more seriously than a well informed homeless person . Theres a few more I didnt mention because they are the elite stars like Matt Damon the press (fox News ) are afraid of them . These people have pith and are worth something , but the rest of the talk show crowd who take on a new personality whenever they do a movie . We are impressed with their celebrity , why , because they can play someone else . This shit is written for them , there is not an original thought among them . That is why so many divorces and remarriages because they think they are the character they play . Im not saying that they are all flakes just most of them and anyone who patterns their life after a flake is a flake . My idols now are people of substance and truth tellers .
