In the US they have finally decided that its not right to slaughter horses, so we do the dirty work here in Canada so a few in both countries can profit and there is always somewhere for wastage, purpose-bred and overbred horses to go. Meanwhile, we are also shipping healthy, purpose-bred, live horses in crates on planes out of Calgary so they can be slaughtered in Japan. So - Canada is importing and exporting - for now.
