In the early 1990s during a MLK ceremony at Ebenezer Baptist - TopicsExpress

In the early 1990s during a MLK ceremony at Ebenezer Baptist Church, I shared my belief about Dr. King, non-violence and the deception of European history when it came to our story vs his-story (history). I stated how I believed that most people didnt have access to Kings work/speeches as they pertained to the March on Washington, the Vietnam War and non-violence. That Gandhi and King both, at some point, understood that non-violence was simply a strategy not a way of life; that one needs to have alternative actions when dealing with the aggression of others. Well as can be expected, my words did not go over so well! Most of the people were the supporters of the I Have A Dream Non-Violence King and could not conceive of his having any other agenda but that which was read in news articles and seen on NBC Nightly News. Well now there is a piece out on YOUTUBE that I thought everyone should view and share. Maybe you will get a better understanding of why I am such an angry person when it comes to the hypocrisy of America and the European teachings. Thanks Chief YellowFeather!
