In the past three days, I have accomplished a few things: 1) Made it to and stayed in Colorado Springs, despite having my first flight canceled, the scheduled rental car service not accepting my debit card, and the hotel giving away my room because I wasnt there on the first night. (Sometimes all you can do is laugh at your current situation. I tried to do that. It didnt always work.) 2) Accepted a full time position teaching 4th grade Reading and Writing at an Elementary School in Colorado Springs. 3) Listened to the album Abbey Road by The Beatles about 6.5 times. I do not know which of these accomplishments should make me the most proud. However, I do know that: Paul McCartney > John Lennon. Ill be sure to present that final statement to my future students as a fact, not an opinion. Word is bond. Cant wait.
