In those good days when politics was truely democratic,they people participate in choosing those who govern them in the various tiers of government based on the achievment of individuals in their various choosing carriers... People were invited and given positions honourably because of contributions in their own little to either their communities or nation and some will even turn-down the offer because they understand too well that the call to public service means a call into servantship meaning,you must received and delivered messages in a clear, transparent and in an accountable manner...In those days,the opportunity 2 have another turn was measured from one good turn but now,those who claimed to be successful or who claimed to have achieved jump into politics when no one has certify fit for such position just because the true meaning of politics has been greatly abused, most especially in Africa...Reverse is now the case were instead of they elects to serve they electorate,they electorate is now serving they elects...A servant riding on a horse while the master treked,imagine...Gray hairs has taken over president Obamas head if you look at him carefully...Thiss simply because he does a lot of critical thinking in oder for him to make sure he deliver the dividence of democracy to they peole so as to better of their lives ...Obama will never fold his arms and say oh,because America is not among the oil producing nations therefore,America cant be developed,cant provide jobs,cant provide electricity etc,he knows its his duty 2 make sure some thing happened out of nothing that at list will better push further the country from where he met it... He understood very well that, its for just this reason he took the oath of that office...As a leader,you should be prepared to face,fight and defeat challenges but unfortunately,the majority of our leaders today prefered to fold their arms and give excuses,all our oil well has been seize, therefore:No money to pay workers,no money to make emloyement, we are only depending on foriegn aids etc.As if Nigeria never survived during pre-colonial days when oil was yet to be discovered...Its only in Africa that I have an education minister saddle with the responsibility of making sure our educational sector work effectively goes dancing in public with his family in the name,Im celebrating my birthday at a time he was supposed to go berry his face and name in shame because he has failed in his primary assignment... You honestly have nothing to celebrate if you have concience...Public schools are on strike and as the honourable minister for education you went celebrating your birthday?....No!...I take it that you dont know your work... Friends,brothers, sisters and every body out there,it will only do us good if we sick to understand properly,the true meaning of leadership.
