Incidents from 9/3/14-9/8/14: -Officer assisted the Georgia State Patrol on a traffic stop on GA 316 -Officer responded to a verbal domestic on Second St. Situation was mediated. -Officer worked an incident involving an unsecured load on GA 316. A 2x4 flew off of a truck and struck a mustang traveling behind it. The driver of the work truck refused to stop and make a report. -Officer worked an accident on Atlanta Hwy in the area of the Waffle House. No injuries. -Officer responded to a verbal dispute on Birchfield Dr. -Officer stopped a vehicle on GA 316 for failure to maintain lane. Follow up investigation found that the driver was not licensed. Driver was arrested at the scene for no license. -Officer responded to a 15 yoa juvenile refusing to come home on Birchfield Dr. While on scene at 0300 hrs the juvenile returned home. Mother refused to file a juvenile complaint. Previous incidents with this juvenile. -Officer stopped a vehicle on GA 316 for failure to maintain lane. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the driver for no license. -Officer responded to a suicide attempt near Wall Rd. A male had made comments to his family about wanting to kill himself which had officers attempting to locate the male. He was found near Wall Rd. sitting in his vehicle with a hose running from the tail pipe into the vehicle. The male was transported to the hospital fro evaluation by officers after reeving doctors orders for transport. -Officer took a report of a stolen recycling bin on Providence Rd. Suspect unknown. -Officer responded to a verbal dispute on Atlanta Hwy. -Officer responded to a report of refusal to return vehicles on Atlanta Hwy. Officer responded to a civil dispute on Oak Springs. Situation mediated.
