Isaiah 51 vs 12 -16 I, I am the one comforting you, what are you afraid of or who? Some man or woman who will soon be dead? Some poor retch destined for dust? You have forgotten me, God who made you, who unfurled the skies, who founded the earth. And here you are quaking like an aspen before the tantrums of the tyrant who thinks he can kick down the world. But what will come of that tantrum? The victims will be released before you know it. They r not going to die. For I am God, ur very own God. Named God –of –the – angel – armies I teach u how to talk word by word, and personally watch over you. Vs 22 – your god has taken up people’s case. Look, iv taken back the drink that send you reeling. Iv passed it over to your abusers to drink. Those who ordered you, down on the ground so we can walk all over you! My own words: People can try and tear you down with their words, playing God. Thinking they know God more than anyone. Our church is full of people who r so bold and vocal and yet so disruptive, who can make things happen (forcing their will). Do we really know God? How he works? How he thinks? In Isaiah 55 vd 8 says :”I don’t think the way you think. The way you work isn’t the way I work”. 1st Corinthians chapt 10 vs 14 -18 (the Message version) So, my very dear friends, when you see people reducing God to something they can use or control, get out of their company as fast as you can. I assume I’m addressing believers now who are mature. Draw your own conclusion…. It goes on to say ‘we don’t reduce Christ to what we are, he raises us to what he is’. What does that tell you as a Christian?? Good Day and God bless!
