It has often been says that I am too happy. While that may seem like a ridiculous notion, I was easily affected by what others thought of me and spent much of my adolescent years trying to tone down my natural energy and enjoyment of life. This was hard work, actually. And it often resulted in a depressing spiral downwards. It was hard trying to be something other than who I really was meant to be. Now, I am incredibly happy on most days--- and it may seem from my posts that I have wonderful abundance and everything just comes easily. But there is effort involved. I WORK to keep my mental state in a place of joyful gratitude. Some days are easier than others, that is for sure. I am surrounded with abundance because its what I strategically designed for myself. I journal, I repeat affirmations, I eat healthy, I get 7-8 hours of sleep a night, I work out 4-5 times a week, I meditate, I tap. I wake up every morning counting my blessings because it sets the tone for my entire day. When I need to release something negative like fear, anger or frustration... I have a big cry with one of my closest girlfriends... Or sometimes just by myself. These things are necessary. If there is one thing that is imperative in everything we do, its to keep ourselves in a happy mental state, whatever the cost. Its the root of everything else we want in our lives. Romance, wealth, abundance, health, notoriety, joy. This is what I wish for the world, for myself and for you. I dream of a society that works harmoniously and collaborates in love and acceptance of one another. The possibilities of what we could accomplish together are endless. So. Right now, stop. Look up off your digital device, look around at the beautiful life that is YOURS and breath it in. Just take the moment for yourself every day and know that by doing so YOU are contributing to a more harmonious world.
