It is so pathetic how partisanship has made skewed the reasoning of some so-called intellectuals. In the light of the ongoing political debate on social media, I will say there is no limit to the absurdity being spewed by career Jonathanians and Buharists alike just in a bid to promote and defend their principal cum candidate. Well, for the scarcity of time, some of us just read them, shake our head and scroll on in search of more time and energy worthy posts or comments. At the risk of being for the umpteenth time classified as a Buharists, I will reproduce here one of those statements coming from a supposed intellectual who is a Jonathanian. In his response to the criticism directed at governments penchant for recurrent lies as regards their handling of the Boko Haram insurgency and specifically the big lie about a ceasefire that never was. Our Jonathanian says that JONATHAN DOES NOT NEED A VICTORY OVER BOKO HARAM TO WIN THE ELECTION INASMUCH AS HE HAS BEEN ORDAINED BY GOD TO WIN. Gbam. If he does not actually have his brain wrongly positioned, how come he doesnt know that a nations security matter can not be expunged from the politics of the nation and by extension a function of the rating of the government. Of course we get a lot of bull S**t coming from some Buharists too but in all sincerity, nothing beats this yet. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give a 9 to this. You never know, there really is no limit to stupidity. My free advice to the intelligent ones among the Jonathanians and Buharists is to tell the dumb ones in their camp to shut up. Nothing is more counter-productive than having some people within your camp who constantly exhibit their idiocy and loudly too. There are quite a lot of them and they are crowding out the smart ones. There are still some of us who are presently unaligned, objectively critical and conscientiously evaluating the argument from both sides of the divide.
