It is the strength of the Aqliyah (mentality) and Nafsiyya (disposition) which forms the Shakhsiya (personality) that led the pagan Arabs to become the respected companions of the Prophet (saw). These were the people who carried lofty ideas, thoughts and values, who eventually brought vast swathes of land under the rule of Islam and it is the weakness of the Shakhsiya (personality) that led to the decline of the Ummah such that it was eventually occupied by the colonialists and plundered and divided into statelets after it had been one of the greatest nations on the earth. To regain its lost respect and might and to Establish the Rule Of Allah (swt) on the dunya the Muslim Ummah will have to redo what the blessed companions of the prophet (saw) did.
