It shouldn’t surprise you that not everything in this world is good. Not every person is happy. Not every place on this planet is beautiful. Evil exists — and its impact is devastating. Just take a look at your favorite news website, and you can see it right away. That means that anyone who takes God seriously has to at some point deal with an important question: How did God let everything get messed up? At this point you have made a serious mistake and asked the wrong question. It is not his doing. He gave us this task and it was up to us to make it right or screw it up. Don’t blame God for your problems. We were all given the tools to survive with the caveat that we would use them wisely. God will only lead the way if you not only listen to the word but you question it and apply it to your life today. God caught one fish, he didn’t intend to raise a world of them. Always believe but never blindly follow others. I say that but, then I remember something that fills me with hope.
