It was all hands in the dirt at the recent Capricorn Coast - TopicsExpress

It was all hands in the dirt at the recent Capricorn Coast Landcare Group workshop as we learned to collect & sow native seeds, and propagate plants. Presenters Nick Smith & Alby Wooler shared how simple it can be to propagate and grow native plants in your garden and inspired participants to give it a try. Everyone took home a plant ( Decospermum struckoilii )- for their garden. There are fewer than 30 of these plants in the wild. The seedlings were propagated by Ian and Kathy Herbert and donated to the Livingstone Community Nursery for distribution throughout the community. The workshop was supported with funds from the Australian Government.
