Ive found that my sitemap is not being seen by google. I have the xml plugin installed on my wordpress blog. I have no crawl errors or blocked url s and my Robot.txt file is showing the correct syntax. The link on Webmaster tools shows that it might have been a Hostgator problem. Ive contacted Hostgator and received this message: I was able to replicate this by visiting the same URL, and was able to find that this 403 was due to a Mod_Security rule. I have whitelisted the domain from this rule, and am now able to get a Wordpress-generated 404 error. The request is thus being passed to Wordpress. The 404 error is something you will need to troubleshoot with the authors of the plugin that is supposed to to generate the sitemap, or which is otherwise supposed to be responsible for generating the content at this URL. Can anyone direct me to the way to fix this? Thanks, George Gardner
