I’m actually surprised by your question because if you don’t - TopicsExpress

I’m actually surprised by your question because if you don’t understand this then I question why you would continue to foster understanding and cultural diversity among black peoples in the first place!! The answer to your question is very simple. Pan Africanism can be achieved among people who wish it so, and it has NOTHING to do with culture OR skin color. It’s simply a matter of having a willingness to learn and respect other cultures! Therefore, your assumption is only valid among Africans who DO NOT WISH TO UNITE, which in my opinion is FAR LESS THAN THE 90% YOU CLAIM, in which case it would be best for them to remain in their country of origin. But you need to understand the difference between UNITY and CONFORMITY!! NOBODY in their right mind should voluntarily or by force deny their own culture just to “fit in” or conform or be assimilated. Nobody understands that like a Black American!!! People are free to migrate and expatriate wherever they choose and this has been the case since the beginning. In other words, it would behoove ALL AFRICANS to embrace the cultural diversity of the diaspora, because AFRICA BELONGS TO ALL OF US, and when I do finally achieve my dream of living in Africa I can assure you I will not tolerate ANYONE who has a problem with my culture to impose ANYTHING on me that I’m not willing to receive or accept anymore than I would expect an African to allow me to impose my culture on them! We MUST learn to respect the differences and Kriss To Pher is 100% correct. It’s Pan Africanism or perish!!!
