James Copestake......... My father was hit by a drunk driver and killed two weeks ago. He was a Navy veteran and served onboard the USS Chuckawan (AO-100) out of Norfolk/Brooklyn Navy Yard in the late 60s. Im reaching out in hopes of maybe finding some old Chuckawan Sailors. I dont know much about his Naval service (he didnt like to talk about it), but my brother and I, both sailors, are curious. His name was Dennis Macaluso, and he was a ENFN. Thats all we know
