Jiggers in Central Moses Kuria thinks the anti jigger campaign spearheaded by Ahadi Trust is presenting a bad image of Central Province. To some of us, we encountered the small parasite when we were growing up and going to school barefooted. The PR thing seems to have gone viral. MPs are also concerned about PR.If the image you want the nation to have is of a green Central,a rising central,a productive central,a rich central, a flourishing central with Muthaiga like lawns and fences-thats being misguided. The truth is this: A jigger is a symbol of want and deficiency in development across various indexes. The best thing to do as a leader is to support the work of Ahadi Trust and other worthy initiatives meant to address real needs facing the people, not only in Central but across the whole country.
