Jim Ross criticizes WWE: In reference to the poor buys of SummerSlam Jim Ross it seems thinks it is time to lessen the amount of events WWE hold, saying with WWE it is too often a case of same old, same old... Too often major storylines are 1. over thought and 2. over exposed in largely a sameness presentation on free TV to make them feel special enough for one to want to invest significant money on PPV to see more... Im a believer that TV ratings can be achieved without giving away multiple, PPV attractions but only if long term, creative planning is firmly in place. Changing things on the fly and making 11th hour decisions regarding direction, etc will never be a successful formula. PPVs should generally feature one of two things. if not both, in different, main event level bouts, 1. The blow off of a well told storyline or 2. The first bout of a well set up issue. It gets very tricky when one is trying to get multiple, PPVs out of two talents on successive PPV events. It can be done but its getting harder and harder or so it seems. We can Twerk it out: Brooke Tessmacher has taken TNA cameras into a dance class with her, she was learning to Twerk... youtube/watch?v=u9K23FIqj9E Matt Striker: Matt Striker posted an offensive joke on his Twitter yesterday, (Since deleted) regarding the Boston marathon tragedy... Ill get sh*t for this but if theres a tragedy at this Sundays NY Marathon then that means the Knicks will be NBA champs. Raw: Hall OF Famer Afa was backstage at Raw this week. Kharma: (Photo), WWE Alum Kharmas new look. TNA for sale: Some details have emerged about the possible buyer for TNA, see if you can guess who it is... * The person is someone fans will know... * The person may surprise us... * The person has money behind them... * The person is very intelligent... TNA still say they are not for sale, but are open to listening to offers. The person above is not the only interested party, a Major celebrity is also said to be interested in buying. TNA Title: The TNA title bracket has been confirmed... * Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Sabin * James Storm vs. Bobby Roode * Austin Aries vs. Kurt Angle * Magnus vs. Samoa Joe The real belt will go from Mexico to Japan on November 16. AJ Styles will defend vs Seiya Sanada, should he retain this Sunday vs Judas Mesias of course. WWE 50: New trailer... youtube/watch?v=R1vOaBVWH-U Survivor Series: Oldschool fans take heart. WWE are still considering Big Show vs Randy Orton to main event this months Survivor Series PPV, but are currently working on a Major tag team elimination match to end the show. It would be the first time since 2005 that the traditional match would headline the PPV. Big Show vs Triple H is now penciled in for TLC in December. Also on Survivor Series, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan were set to feud with The Shield at the PPV right up until WWE started the feud for the show on the post HIAC Raw. The change was made at the last minute on the day, because WWE want to elevate Bray Wyatt up the card. Stephanie McMahon: WWE have added Wrestler to Stephanie McMahons job title, so her ring return is coming. This, coupled with the news that Cody Rhodes wife Brandi is returning to the WWE this week, leads me to think that maybe the McMahons vs The Rhodes match at Survivor Series is becoming a real possibility. WWE list WCW losers: 15 - Kwee Wee 14 - The Barrio Brothers 13 - Scott Putski 12 - Disorderly Conduct 11 - TAFKA Prince Iaukea 10 - Lodi 9 - Lash Leroux 8 - Rick Fuller 7 - The Maestro 6 - High Voltage 5 - El Dandy 4 - Lenny Lane 3 - The Mulkeys 2 - The Gambler 1 - Jerry Flynn John Cena on World Championship: John Cena says the World Title is a Second tier championship, but said him defending the belt at WrestleMania 30 would lift it back up... This is not taken as a shot of disrespect to anyone who has held the title before me, but its now viewed as a second-tier championship. (Defending it at WrestleMania 30) will truly put a stamp on making it the real deal. I want the WWE universe to realize that its not a second-tier championship. It should be treated with as much respect as the WWE title. FIRST QUESTION OF THE DAY... Who do you think the mystery possible buyer for TNA is? TNA For Sale: Dave Meltzer says rumours of the interested parties in purchasing TNA are All wrong. He says the buyer is not WWE, Eric Bischoff or Spike TV parent company Viacom. PWI report that one interested party is based outside of the United States. Current owners Panda Energy, via Janice Carter have released a statement saying they are not interested in selling their ownership share of TNA, adding the rumours are False and the company remain committed to the promotion. WWE Legend Jake The Snake Roberts is looking into starting a fund to purchase the company via indiegogo. Y2J vs HHH: Chris Jericho has spoken to WWE.Com about Triple Hs Raw promo, he says he is not angry with HHH, but that while he believes Hunter is one of the greats, he could match him in every area. He also added that, he was not The guy, but neither was Hunter, they were the guys that wrestled against The guy... Thats his opinion, and as somebody that was a six-time World Champion and main evented pay-per-views for years, was I ever the guy? Well, no, but who was?. I think if you look over the last 15 years in WWE, youve got Rock, Austin, Hogan and Cena. I wasnt the guy... I just know that I had great matches pretty much every night. I had great rapport with the fans. I could make them love me or hate me depending on what I wanted, so I dont know what more you can say. Jericho added he was drunk when he sent the angry tweet about the promo. Interestingly in a poll to go with the interview on .Com, entitled Who was better Chris Jericho is beating Triple H 97% to 3%. Paul London: Paul London has been working on the show Revolution this week as an actor and stuntman. WWE 50: WWE will release a book on the 50 years of WWE on March 31 2014. AJ Styles: TNA plan on keeping AJ Styles off TV for several months to sell his current stories. TNA: TNA have now confirmed that they will return to Orlando to tape all the upcoming Impacts for 2013. Aces and Eights: Aces and Eights are being phased out of TNA because the current regime (Jarrett and Gaburick) want to distance the promotion from the Bischoff regime (Aces and Eights were his idea). Stephanie McMahon: Steph is returning to the ring, she has signed a new 3 year active wrestler contract for $325,000 per year. Daniel Bryan: Daniel Bryan is now out of the WWE title stories and will feud with the Wyatts for the coming months, but the story line may be picked up vs Triple H and Steph around WrestleMania season next year. Harry Smith: Harry DH Smith says he would be open to working for TNA and discussed Hall Of Fame induction for his father The Brtish Bulldog... I dont know, I really dont know, hopefully I will be around wrestling for a long time to come so it could happen in the next ten years, but I honestly dont know. I would like to see Owen get inducted, but I dont think that will happen, his wife Martha would no way agree to it and I understand thats her deal and shes entitled to that. SECOND QUESTION OF THE DAY... Who is better Chris Jericho or Triple H? Source: Shaggys Wrestling News. DSD.
