Jingle Jingles Adventure Walk, 12/27/13 Hi Betty! Thank you so much for your gift this holiday season so a dog from Richmond Animal Care and Control could go for a nice long walk. Id like to introduce you to Jingle Jingle, a sweet, adventurous and feisty one-year-old pit mix that just loves to explore and run! I had the pleasure of taking this gorgeous girl to Bryan Park this afternoon and she had the best time checking out all the people, jumping on rocks, and attempting to make friends with geese! We had awesome weather and she seemed so happy to be out in the fresh air and sunshine she couldnt take everything in fast enough. She just wanted to investigate everything! Jingle Jingle has so much energy and is up for walking along briskly beside you or running through leaves and up hills. Now this pretty girl is strong and shes still learning some leash skills, but she walked very well on her leash for the majority of our hike through the park. We crossed paths with so many people today. Some walkers, joggers, and people playing frisbee and Jingle Jingle was eager to greet them all. A couple groups had dogs and we didnt get close enough to greet them, but Jingle Jingle was excited to go over and greet them as well. She seemed very friendly and I think would do well with other dogs. We made our way around the big, windy paths of the park and cut through the grass to get to the pond. Jingle Jingle loved looking out at the water and she even tried to make friends with a few of the geese and swam over our way. One in particular was extra noisy and she just could not figure out what it was it was too cute! After that, we headed down below a bridge to the dam to climb some rocks. She seemed to enjoy this. She liked looking at the water and hopping around on all the rocks. Shes up for anything active youre doing really! After that we did one more lap of the park before heading back to the car. She hopped right in without hesitation and rode like an angel all the way back to the shelter. Jingle Jingle is a great dog and with a little training and patience she will fit right into anyones home! Thank you again for your kind donation!
