Client Name : CMMI Level 5 Work Location : Noida Experience : 2 to 5 yrs Position : Monitoring Specialist JD : Solid understanding of Enterprise and Internet monitoring concepts, principles, and best practices. Experience with event de-duplication/correlation and integration with service desk tools strongly desired. Experience with design, implementation and administration of Monitoring tools, particularly OpenNMS and Alert site. Knowledge of MIB structure, OID notation, Net Flow data, RMON probes and counters. Well versed in open-source technologies and environments. Solid understanding of network routing, switching, TCP/IP addressing design and troubleshooting. Must be experienced with Linux (RedHat type distributions in particular). The ability to work as a systems administrator on the command line of Linux servers is a strong plus. Experience with scripting languages. Strong with SNMP based monitoring tools. Customer-oriented and Security-minded working philosophy. Good organizational and prioritization skills. Willing and able to clearly document the monitoring environment. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with customers, teammates, and other internal colleagues. Particular experience working the software engineering teams in a SaaS environment. Ability to operate in an agile, entrepreneurial start-up environment with a flexible schedule as after-hours work will be required periodically. This position can be based at our HQ in Bellevue, WA office. For exceptional candidates, relocation may be considered.
