Job description Theomobex is looking for a dynamic and talented front-end SW developer to work as a developer or senior developer on our team in Beirut, Lebanon. Desired Skills and Experience The candidate should have knowledge of several of the following: • RESTful services • JSON • JavaScript • CSS • HTML • Unit Testing. “Must” have: HTML, CSS, Javascript and some exposure to Javascript frameworks. “Advantageous” to have: JQuery, JQueryMobile, Angularjs, Backbone, Ember.js or other Javascript frameworks. Other: API design, Database performance characteristics, Scaling Essential Duties • Implement, facilitate and coordinate front-end of UK & Ireland headquartered m-commerce platform and operations for local Middle East market. • Manage initial and corrective action plans. • Identify, implement and drive process improvements. • Interact with local and HQ team leaders to identify process inefficiencies and gaps. • Collaborate with customer base and partners as appropriate. • Generate improvements, prepare reports and manage corrective action plans. Education and Experience • Education Level: BA or equivalent. • Field Of Study: Engineering, SW, Systems. • A combination of education and experience is acceptable. • Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities. • Ability to prioritize with good time management skills. • Telecoms/mobile experience a plus. • Ability to speak English and Arabic fluently, French is a plus.
