Joe: News---The KPR district School Board has approved the closure of South Monaghan Public School, effective next June. Board Chair Diane Lloyd calls the decision both challenging and emotional... The move comes after ten years of declining enrollment. Students at South Monaghan will attend either Millbrook/South Cavan Public School or North Shore Public School depending on their home address--- Students whose addresses front Highway 28 and areas west of Highway 28 as well as the hamlets of Fraserville and Bailieboro will go to Millbrook/South Cavan Public School. All other students will attend North Shore Public School.
