Jony and Vivi’s story began with a heartwarming proposal. He proposed to her in a movie theatre. Their mutual friends had occupied the whole place much to her knowledge. The movie started rolling, he asked and she said yes. It was the sweetest thing I had seen in a very long time. Hence, the perfect start for this video. I think that Jony is probably the most romantic groom I have ever met. He’s not just offering lip-service, but I truly believe that he’s romantic from deep inside his very core. He really knows how to treat Vivi - like she’s the only woman in the world that mattered. To be honest to you, it made me think about how I treat my wife. Do I still woo the socks off of her on a daily basis? Maybe not. Do I still go the extra mile to tell her how much I value her? Unfortunately, no. I guess I could justify myself by saying that, well.. you know, life happened and romance is not the priority anymore. But even I would disagree with myself immediately. Romance should always be the priority in marriage. Even long after your “I do”s. It should still matter to me (and to all men) to tell my wife how much I love her and to remind her about why she fell in love with me in the first place. Thank you, Jony, for this valuable reminder. Also, ladies… be sure to listen to this guy’s wedding vow. He was melting my heart word by word. I wonder if he also has that effect on you.
