Judicial Reform: 1. What we have today is “British Law & British Judicial System”. It must be transformed into “Indian Law & Indian Judicial system” on top priority. 2. At least one Fast Track Court should be started in every district. 3. All the Courts must function at least 250 days or 2000 hours every year. 4. Metropolitan Courts should work in 02 shifts i.e. 7am-1pm & 2pm-8pm. 5. Number of Judges should be reviewed & it should be based on Population. 6. Registration of cases must improve. Latest technology should be used. Stringent Penalty clause in case of needless delay in case filing. 7. Judicial manpower, infrastructure, transport, communications & technology support must improve very substantially. 8. Government should start Indian Judicial Service without delay. 9. Minimum Qualification, Maximum Age Limit & Minimum Health Standard should be reviewed and it should be uniform throughout the nation. 10. Housing for Judicial Officers & subordinates must receive special attention. 11. Responsibility & Accountability must be clearly defined with penalty. 12. An independent National Judicial Commission should be formed. 13. Corruption & Crime cases against People Representatives, Public Servants and Judicial Officers should be transferred in Fast Track Courts & these cases must be decided within a year. 14. It should be mandatory for Law Officers, Judicial Officers & Staff to put their last 5 year in come details & his / her Spouse, Children & Parents last 5 years income details in public domain. 15. Law Commission recommendations, Supreme Court’s directives & suggestions should be implemented without any further delay & Acts should be legislated in letter & spirit.
