Just Imagine…IF • April 15th was just another day • The IRS was abolished, forever. • Every tax form that exists today, could be destroyed and replaced with nothing • The tax rate was so low that even the poor could afford to pay their fair share; and there would still be enough to fund the entire federal government, and ALL state governments without the need to borrow Just Imagine…IF • The tax rate was the same for everyone • The collection of taxes was so simple, it could put nearly $1 Trillion in tax compliance cost savings back into the productive economy • Individuals and businesses could keep 99% of what they earn • EVERY Federal and State tax in existence, could be eliminated • The tax rate was almost 100X LESS than the proposed “Fair Tax” and required no pre-bate”, or collection by retailers. • The tax system was completely voluntary Just Imagine…IF • Property could no longer be taxed or seized by the government for taxes • Government no longer has the power to arrest people for non-payment of taxes • Armed IRS agents no longer existed • People no longer had to get government permission to accept money for an organization • The status of “non-profit” no longer existed • The government no longer had the ability to intimidate and silence your voice through the tax code or threaten you with an audit of your finances • Legislators could no longer hand out tax “favors” for campaign contributions What if the people suddenly realized that all this were possible, with an APT (Automated Payment Transaction Tax) system? What would we do?
