Just got round to watching Emma Watsons speech on gender equality. An incredibly powerful speech that really highlights the role we all have to play in securing gender equality. (If you havent already watched it then I highly recommend you give it a watch.) As males we should not be ashamed to advocate for all of the things that Emma talks about. Gender equality isnt a womens issue, its our issue. I therefore accept Emmas invitation to take part in the conversations concerning gender equality and I have just signed up to the HeForShe movement, which can be done here: heforshe.org/ and I would urge other males to do the same.
