Just had this re my complaint the other week : Your Reference: VA/Celebrity Big Brother – Gary Busey/DT3/C3E (Please quote this reference in all further correspondence) Date: 12th September 2014 Dear Correspondent Thank you for your recent e-mail regarding Celebrity Big Brother. We apologise for the delay in responding. We were sorry to read that you have been unhappy with the manner in which Gary Busey has been treated by a number of other housemates and that you believe they have been bullying him. We can assure you the behaviour of all housemates is constantly monitored by the production team and neither Channel 5 nor the producers, Endemol, condone or tolerate any bullying. Where necessary, warnings are given in the Diary Room although these may not always be included in the programme. We would also like to assure you that the health and welfare of all the housemates is of paramount importance to Channel 5 and the programme’s production team. All housemates were independently evaluated before entering the house and are closely monitored by professional personnel throughout their time there. In the case of Gary, it is important to note that he has never complained to Big Brother about being bullied and has consistently expressed the view to Big Brother that he has enjoyed his housemates and his interactions with them, although sometimes he recognises they do not feel the love for him. Nevertheless, we are grateful to you for taking the time to make us aware of your concerns. The details of your complaint have been logged for the attention of all relevant personnel.
