Just rode the free trolley around downtown district of Charleston by myself while Mama rested. Had a man with his family shove me in my one person bench over and said you can share in his accented voice while he made his wife and teenage son stand in the aisle. He was about 40 years old. So glad I have the manners of the south and culture that chivalry is NOT dead. Although I have to respect the culture for what he was raised and learned. Glad to be back in my room with my Mama. Hoping for a better day tomorrow and a carriage ride...Fingers crossed!
