Just wanted to give everyone an update on Mr. Rusty! We took him back to Dr.Serio. He spent the day there getting groomed and checked up. We also had him chipped. We got great news that hes doing wonderful! His ears are cleared up as well as his eyes! No more medicine for this little man! When we went to pick him up he was so excited to see us that he peed all over Dr.Serios floor! I felt so bad but everyone there said it was so amazing to see how loved he is and how happy they are that he found a good home! He is doing great with going to the bathroom! He lets is know when he needs to go out, runs out does his business and comes back! We haves made the mistake of letting him sleep in our bed, between us, under the covers and a pillow. Talk about spoiled. We wouldnt have it any other way! Hes an amazing snuggle buddy! A few facts since hes been with us for all of you wanting to be kept in the loop! -he LOVES car rides! So much he tried to jump in our neighbors car the other day and go for a ride. -he knows after he goes outside to potty hes getting a treat. He makes sure we dont forget to cheat him out of a treat! -pig ears are by far his favorite! -Rusty and Marci are finally starting to become friends! They were never enemies, just very unsure of one another. More Marci than Rusty. They are on their way to being best buds! -he loves to play outside, he loves to chase the tennis ball. Were still working on the bringing the ball back ;) The most important part of this adoption is not about what we gave Rusty. Its what Rusty has given us. Ive never met a sweeter dog in my life. He is so protective of us and doesnt leave our side. The love we have for him is unconditional and we cant thank you all enough for giving is this opportunity to give this dog the life he has always deserved!
