Just when we thought we had avoided war with Syria and pulled out of Iraq, the U.S. begins air strikes again. Already many claim that civilians have been killed by air strikes in Syria. Bill Nelson and others in the democratic party go right along with the war mongering. Congress has made no efforts to demand that Obama seek approval for air strikes, and Bill Nelson speaking out in support. We will be sitting in and demanding a meeting with Bill Nelson! We want to tell him: No to war in Iraq and Syria! Pledge not to commit ground troops! U.S. Imperialism created this problem, and it will not solve it! Money for jobs, education, and social services, not endless war! Meet at the intersection of NW Coral Way and 37th Avenue. We will march to Bill Nelsons office, and then sit in until the office closes at 3. We will be singing anti war songs and having dialogue about the issues.
