KAAP JOB TITLE: CCTV Installation Technician and Meter reader JOB TITLE THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: Security Manager BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF JOB PURPOSE: Install, program, maintain, or repair security or fire alarm wiring and equipment QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES: Qualification: Electrical Diploma (N6) advantageous Experience: Previous experience working with CCTV and Camera monitoring systems Knowledge: Sound technical knowledge CCTV and camera monitoring systems Skills: Attributes: Ability to work under pressure situations and unsupervised. The individual must possess integrity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE: CCTV maintenance and Installations • Installation and maintenance of CCTV camera’s & monitoring systems • Management of installation teams • Management of stock • Administrative duties • Project meetings • Customer support • Fault finding and repairs Meter reading • Accurately read and record the electrical and water meters • Observe and report on any irregularly noted on the meters • Report on any additional meters found on site START DATE: ASAP WORKING HOURS: Working hours are a 45 hour work week. You are required to work a Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 17h00 and Saturday mornings from 08h00 to 13h00. A daily 45 minute lunch break. Required to be on call 24/7 in case of emergencies.
