KATHMANDU, SEP 27 - Nepal registered a thumping nine wickets against Kuwait in Asiad cricket on Saturday. Displaying a dominant bowling performance, Nepal bowled out the Gulf side for a mere 20 runs inside 14th over. Five of the Kuwaiti batsmen went for a duck while none of them could reach double figure with Bastaki Fahad and Beidas Tareq top scoring with four runs. Nepal conceded seven runs in extras. Sagar Pun (9), Subash Khakurel (7*) and Binod Bhandari (5*) chased the 21-run target from 17 balls. Nepal will play against Maldives in their second game tomorrow.
