Ken Kellys cover for Eerie #29 is still one of my favorite Kelly - TopicsExpress

Ken Kellys cover for Eerie #29 is still one of my favorite Kelly pieces. The mood created by the misty light in the dark dungeon is very dreary and eerie. Tom Suttons interior art on the cover story The Vorpal Sword is some of the best he ever did for Eerie, in my opinion. This issue also features Fiend Planet with some great art by Dan Adkins, The Blood Staff by Rich Buckler, probably his best work from this period and Gallery of Horror nicely illustrated by Carlos Garzon. There are also THREE stories from Jack Sparling. This issue is one of the standouts from 1970.
