LEARN HOW YOU CAN SIGN UP FOR ANY OR ALL OF THESE OFFERINGS FOR FREE… You are never too old to learn a new skill in the kitchen, on the farm or starting a new business. Here is an opportunity to learn over lunch with FARRMS Weekly Wednesday Webinar Series. And this semester it’s FREE. Watch a special introductory video and find the key words to gain access to any or all of the spring webinars. Each webinar runs from 12 to 1 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Jan. 2. All sessions are recorded for access at a later date if you miss one or are late to arrive. It’s informal and entertaining and available to anyone with a computer and Internet access; but limited to 25 participants so sign up early. Registration is simple. Turning table scraps into eggs means healthy eating and less garbage. Annie will cover where to get hens, housing those birds, laying, feed, water requirements and management. April 8 – Cooking with pork. Annie Carlson of Morning Joy Farms will cover the most common pork cuts, preparation methods best suited to those cuts, recipes and what to do with leftovers.
