LEAVE JOURNALISTS ALONE! Its a new Kenya.... Good job Jicho Pevu!!!!!!! Jubilee administration should leave the media houses to do their jobs without interference, threats or hinderences. I hate to say this, but the truth is, this contry is run by shameless house and Senate that is committed to cover up the truth at any cost. Impunity is so rampant, that an attempt to even try to evade justice at the World court feels justifiable. Its laughable sometimes when I listen to our political parrots repeatedly repeating Uhurus ITunes over and over again without thinking. Non of the current leadership is for the country, all are for Uhuru. Its this simple! Hey, did you see the speaker of the National Assembly call in an emergency session not to discuss VAT bill, but to discuss Uhuru? VAT is killing us, but thats the least in their priorities for both the house and the Senate. Their mission is to milk the poor to fund Uhuru. What a shame! Ambassador Amina is doing nothing but Uhuru Kenyatta private business. ICC is Uhuru Kenyatta personal problem. Not a national problem. Uhuru knew that he was a charged suspect when he chose to run for president. He even said it himself. So is Uhuru using public funds to fund private matters? I guess a president can do that. The amount of taxpayers money which has been used to fund Aminas trips abroad to rally support for Uhuru is astronomical. UN is not run by drunkards. While Amina and her jubilee gang seek a redress at the UN, the realities of West Gate Mall security failures send a skeptical signal to the world oversight body. How security was handled and subsequent escape of the four killers in high class mall in Nairobi leaves a bad taste in most observers mouth. Yes, Jubilee might be drunk with saving Uhuru from the icc on the other hand, the UN is sober, looking into the legal ramifications, implications in the world faced with power mongers and dictators and long term effects of the ICC if the court goes Uhuru way. Icc is a world court, and it should be treated as such. The shuttled diplomacy has failed before with Steve, it failed again recently with William and I dont see Amina succeeding. This is because the previous fundamentals of the shuttled diplomacy have not changed, the trouble shooting of the past shuttle diplomacies remains the same or worse and the International community will not change the law to accommodate one person. This is beyond doubt. Thinking that western interests in Kenya are so great that US, EU and Japan will collapse if Uhuru Kenyatta goes to the Hague is stupid. Refusing to receive credentials for French ambassador or Germany ambassador is playing chicken games by the administration. Its not helpful to act stupid on diplomatic matters. Kenya is beyond uhuruto and the administration should treat it as such. Trying to cover up security failures in West Gate Mall, by threatening journalists is naive, primitive, foolish and shameful. How can the elite police, GSU, and KDF fail to capture 4 criminals? I mean 4 somali criminals! Does this make sense to you? Why did the KDF blow up a section of the mall? Does this sound fishy to you? Lets look back at some of the major government cover ups by fire. Dr. Robert Ouko was killed and his body set on fire. An inquiry was established, investigation was carried out and to date the case remains inconclusive. Prof. Saitoti died in a helicopter crash, his body was burnt beyond recognition, an inquiry was established, investigation was carried out, and to date, the case remains inconclusive. Jomo Kenyatta International Airport customs and departure area mysteriously caught fire, important information was destroyed, an inquiry was established, investigation carried out, no one knows what transpired thereafter. Lastly, the West Gate Mall was attacked by 4 terrorists, the police and our KDF men and women were sent to rescue innocent victims, our well trained security forces were dispatched, save hundreds of lives but could not kill or apprehend criminals. After the they realized the attackers have escaped, to cover up their failures, the set the mall on fire. There is something in our administration about burning stuff. Why did the president lie to the public and to the world that the criminals have been killed and some apprehended? Why did the KDF men and women resort to looting. Was it because they knew something we dont know. I think they were aware that the criminals had escaped, and being bored, they kept busy by looting. I dont blame them for that. Putting myself in their shoes, bored and with nothing to do, I will loot too. Why did they say of the criminals were American? Why did they build an illusion that they were tens of criminals in the mall, yet they were only 4? Why was media kept in the dark for so long and the nation was left speculating when the government knew the truth, the security authorities knew the truth and choose to lie in this digital dispensation? Thanks to cctv. Or it was another attempt by jubilee administration to try to show the world that Kenya poses adverse security risks if Uhuru Kenyatta goes to the Hague. If this theory holds true in the long run, it will show how far Jubilee administration is willing go to try to protect two individuals even if tens, hundreds or even thousands die in the process.
