Lamborghini has revealed the Asterion LPI910-4 concept. The Asterion concept is a plug-in hybrid. Power comes from a combination of the Huracans 602bhp 5.2-litre V10 and three electric motors. The V10 drives the rear wheels only. The combined output of the three electric motors is 296bhp, meaning the cars total output (when fully recharged) is 898bhp. 0-62mph is said to take 3.0s, while top speed is 199mph. Lamborghini claim the car will achieve 67mpg on the combined cycle with CO2 emissions rated at 98g/km, but such figures for plug-in hybrids must be taken with more than a pinch of salt.
