Lane and Load Width Restriction on EB Audubon Pkwy Green River Bridge A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has added a 12 ft. load width restriction for eastbound traffic on the Audubon Parkway at the Green River Bridge at the Henderson-Daviess County Line. This lane and load width restriction is at Audubon Parkway mile point 15.833. Since July 15th, eastbound traffic has been restricted to one lane on the Audubon Parkway due to a protruding bridge expansion joint that created a potential traffic hazard. A contractor has received delivery of a replacement joint and repair work has started. To facilitate the work a barrier wall with a strict 12 ft. load width restriction is in place. This work zone also has a 55 mile per hour speed limit with double fines and an enhanced enforcement presence. All eastbound traffic on the Audubon Parkway Green River Bridge has been moved to the left-hand or passing lane at this site. Eastbound motorists should be prepared to encounter slowing and merging traffic as they approach this lane restriction. The lane and load width restriction is expected to be in place through Friday, October 31, 2014.
