Last night we were driving home from New Liskeard during a blinding snow storm, following the tail lights of the vehicle in front of us. Suddenly, an 18 wheeler came out of nowhere and PASSED US THE RIGHT! He kicked up so much snow that we were momentarily blinded and I was so startled that it was only my seatbelt that held me down. The car ahead also had to brake suddenly and had trouble staying in control due to the icy sloppy road conditions. You see, we didnt see the sign and, obviously, the car ahead didnt see it, but we were in a passing lane so this deadly weapon decided to use the inside lane to get ahead of us. There were no tire tracks in that lane, nor could we see the yellow line. We had dropped our speed down because of the weather and road conditions. Obviously the truck driver did not. What an a@$:#%*¥*. We did, however, get the name of the truck company, HYNDMAN, and they will be in receipt of forceful, yet polite, missive today. I thank God Richard is such a competent driver or we might not be here today.
