Laurie Ainsworth, the admin of MUSIC LOVERS is a Russian-born pianist and composer now living and working in England with poor quality recording equipment. He has written, played and recorded over 200 pieces of music for facebook and youtube. This is not an example of any particular ability as a pianist...... but maybe an example of an ability to create atmosphere and the evocation of a subject. The pianist can be heard live every Friday night and every Sunday lunchtime ( 12 - 2.30 ) at the Best Western Glendower Hotel, where he has been the resident pianist for the last two years. He is known as THE MAN AT THE PIANO. He is also booked to play at this first-rate hotel over the Christmas period, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day itself. It just occurred to me that perhaps some of the members of this great group may like to pop in to the hotel for a sandwich, a meal or a drink and hear some live music on the Best Western Glendower Hotels fabulous instrument. :)..... ( some of you will have maybe noticed some of the photos I have uploaded to your group, and PHOTOGRAPHS FROM LAURIE AINSWORTH is also a pleasant facebook page with over 20,000 beautiful photos............Hello to some of the members whose names I recognise..:)
