Less than a week after making our demand, we obtained the policy limits against the drunk driver that struck our clients’ house. Although the drunk driver’s responsibility is not in dispute, we anticipated that the insurance company would dispute the extent of our clients’ injuries and causation. In anticipation of that possibility, our demand explained in detail how the accident caused our clients’ injuries and how those injuries affected their lives. It worked!
