Let’s Rebuild Kashmir From the Desk of Human Watch, Chairman. The devastating floods of September 2014 brought the catastrophe in the shape of death and destruction, caused unprecedented loss of human lives, loss of economy about 2 Trillion rupees, left thousands homeless. Now the challenge before all of us is how to rebuild Kashmir after this horrifying disaster. Our mission is to bring the glory of world famous Kashmir back by rebuilding it and rehabilitating the flood victims of paradise of this planet. Being a philanthropist and a victim of flood, I am completely broken and moved by the pathetic condition of flood affected people of Kashmir; particularly those who lost their loved ones, those who have became homeless. The volunteers of Human Watch ( a non profitable organization ) have put their lives at risk to rescue the people from the devastating floods particularly in many areas of Srinagar and were also working day in and day out to provide food and water to the flood victims without any publicity . Since the motto of Human Watch is to “ Save and Serve Humanity” following the aforesaid philosophy, the volunteers of Human Watch did everything whatever possible according to their competence without any photography because their motto is to serve not show off as they follow the philosophy of humanism as true humanists. Being a witness and victim of the dance of death and destruction due to catastrophe of natural calamity in the shape of devastating floods, as the Chairman of Human Watch I have decided to contribute in bringing the glory of Kashmir back by adopting 200 flood affected families of Kashmir, in this regard Human Watch has constituted a team for necessary fund raising within and without India under International Humanitarian Law. Following the International Disaster Laws and to address various aspects of post-disaster humanitarian relief , Human Watch has also decided to apply for FCRA ( Foreign Contribution Regulation Act -1976 ) registration to receive Foreign Funding in order to fulfill the promise of adopting 200 flood affected families . If Government of India will grant the FCRA registration to Human Watch the dream of adopting 200 floods affected families can surely be translated into reality. The Human Watch and deeply regret the loss of life and the damage to property caused by the floods of September 2014.Having passed through portion of the affected area we are keenly consciously of the misfortune sustained in many homes. We convey to all the sufferers our warm sympathy, together, with our appreciation of the fact that their tribulations are being borne with, courage and fortitude. In view of catastrophe caused by devastated floods in Kashmir Valley Human Watch appeals the inhabitants of the globe, business houses of India, Pakistan and other global countries to come forward stand by us in this noble mission of rebuilding Kashmir.
