Life is such a mystery to me. Not a day goes by that I dont have questions, but today....I have two questions burning deep down inside. Question #1. Why do the power cords on my laptops stop working after about 12-18 months? Ive own 4 laptops (be it one was a hand-me-down from my son) and all four have had more problems with the power cords which I have had to replace. Im talking Toshiba, Dell and Acers. Can anyone answer that one for me? Question #2 has really been bothering me since yesterday when I wanted to take some slacks to Burlingtons in SLP for alterations and found out that the kind lady who has been doing all of my alterations for the past 25+ years, is no longer working there. Im talking mine and my sons life-line in the clothing alteration world for a very long time. Yes, Ive cheated on her a bit over the years, but never got such quality at such an affordable price which has always had me coming back to her. Now, to add to that heartbreak of hear departure (Im assuming that she has retired since shes talked about it now for the past several years), Burlingtons no longer provides that excellent service at such a reasonable and affordable price. Can anyone Recommend a place where I can take about 6 pair (I horde until I have enough to drop off) of slacks for a quality even hem? Saw-what isnt an option. Thank you for attempting to help me and any reasonable (Shut up Curt) suggestions are greatly appreciated.
