WWOOFers fun and laughter for Hosts real family cultural experience. The more you are willing to share the more you will get back from the WWOOF experience. WWOOFers live with families and get hands-on experience with organic farming, permaculture, biodynamics, earth building, cooking, crafts, wine, cheese and bread making, alternative energy.... Hosts appreciate having help with projects on their land and sharing their lifestyles with others. WWOOF is a enjoyable, educational and sustainable way to travel and get to know the local people. You gain an intercultural experience that promotes understanding and tolerance. WWOOFers comment they like to give something back to the country they are travelling in. Anyone interested in doing their bit for the planet is welcome General information When you become a WWOOF New Zealand member you gain access to all WWOOF hosts by way of online directory. Each WWOOF member, both Hosts and WWOOFers, receive an online profile which is used to confirm membership, and keep in touch with each other. A printed book is also available.
