Looking for something fun to do tomorrow where you won’t get wet? Then come along to the Walworth Bus Depot Open Day from 11am-4pm where all activities are under cover. Visitors to the depot - which is at 301 Camberwell New Road, Walworth SE5 0TF – can take part in a wide range of fun things to do including: • Taking a free trip on vintage buses from the depot to Dulwich, with departures every 20 minutes. In addition a special vintage bus service will operate on route 100 between Elephant & Castle and Shadwell; • Viewing a wide selection of heritage vehicles including London Transport Museum’s newly restored B-type bus; • Jumping up and down on the bouncy bus; • Going on a ride through the bus wash; • Viewing model railways from the Southwark Model Railway Club; • Browsing the London Transport Museum pop-up shop selling exclusive Year of the Bus gifts, and stalls selling bus-related merchandise and memorabilia.
