MICHAELS GETTING MARRIED! I got a wonderful email from Michael yesterday (the farmer from Chinchilla who got scammed in Social Monster) to let me know that hes become engaged to be married! He wanted to let everyone on this site know as well. Without going into any details about the young lady I can say that they actually met on eharmony! Yes, Michaels aware its a bit ironic seeing as he said he was never ever going do another dating website again! :) But she turned out to be real (and no it wasnt the girl he met during the show) and theyve been together for around 16 months. The proposal happened beside a beautiful waterfall in New Zealand. I believe the wedding will be in a bit over a year and Im looking forward to going! He wanted to thank everyone for all the support hes received, and the Head First team for an amazing ride and the experience of a lifetime which he believes went a long way towards making him come out of his shell to have the confidence to believe in himself, and in his words... for the first time in my life to believe that I really was worth something. Congratulations Michael and... you-know-who-you-are... and heres to your amazing life together. ~SB
