MQM Coordination Committee strongly condemns kidnapping & brutal killing of MQM worker Khursheed Baig by the hands of terrorists of Gang-war and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits Karachi. 11th July, 2013. MQM Co-ordination Committee has strongly condemned the kidnapping and killing of MQM worker of Pak Colony Sector Unit 191, by the hands of armed terrorists belonging to gang war and declared this incident an attempt to destabilize the peace in the city. They demanded that immediate notice of kidnapping and killing of Khursheed Baig be taken and the terrorists involved in brutal killing of MQM worker had to be arrested and be given stern punishment. In a statement MQM Coordination committee said that vicious conspiracies were being hatched and criminal elements were used to demolish MQM and to worsen law & order situation in the city. The terrorists had been killing MQM workers freely and not even a single killer had been arrested so far, said the committee and added “The martyred MQM worker Khursheed Baig was kidnapped on 6th July and now after five days his tortured dead body has been found from the vicinity of Kharadar”. MQM Co-ordination Committee demanded of President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Federal Interior Minister Choudhry Nisar, Governor Sind Dr. Ishrat ul Ibad, Chief Minister Sind Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take serious notice of killings of Khursheed Baig, other MQM workers and said that stern punishment should be given to the terrorists involved in such acts. The prayers were made to Almighty Allah for the divine forgiveness and for the eternal peace of the departed soul. Prayers were also made for the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss with courage and patience. The funeral prayer of slain Khursheed Baig was offered at Eidgah Ground and he was buried in Paposhnagar graveyard where many moving scenes were observed on the occasion. The funeral prayer and burial ceremony were attended by MQM Coordination Committee member Aslam Afridi, Haq Parast member Sind Assembly Abdul Haseeb, ex-nazim SITE Town Izhar Ahmed, office bearers of KTC, sector, units committees, workers, supporters and relatives of the slain Khursheed Baig.
