Man charged with Goods in Custody – West Ryde About 1.10am on Saturday 4 October 2014, police were conducting high visibility patrols on Constitution Road, approaching the intersection of Adelaide Street West Ryde. Police observed a man with a large bag in addition with a back pack pushing a bicycle wearing a high visibility jacket. Police stopped and spoke with the 51 year old man from Dundas Valley. After a brief conversation Police had cause to search the man and his bags. Police located two items of mail belonging to two different people from a North Strathfield address. The man was issued with a Court Attendance Notice for Goods in Custody suspected of being stolen and is due to appear in Burwood Local Court on 2 December 2014.
