Many are called but few are Chosen, :) when It comes on Chosen/Chose, people always thought oh That person is chosen by God, thats not the right way to comprehend it, God can chose anyone, As you thought the same was in my mind before, i thought, if God has a chosen people then there is not any need to preach because If there are chosen then God will call them and only will be saved :) hehehe but then later i discovered something, God helped me to understand this as it is, There is a parable in the Gospel. There was a marriage and He called everyone on the marriage, but when no one came to attend the wedding then called the fools, the ones who sat on the roads, the unworthy/ugly people but these are people who had desire to attend the wedding because they were near the wedding place and The master of the banquet said, wash them and clothed them with as the wedding garments :) and then He sent his army to slay everyone who were called and did not rejoin in the wedding of His son. Now He says, Many are called but few are Chosen, :) think about it, here, those who knows something is happening and dont pay attention toward it, and thought oh its minor thing, and dont prepare their vessel and dont trim their lamp, they are foolish( called when they listen the word of God) and then those who listen the cry of watchman and prepared their vessels and start to trim ( are the one who are chosen). God gave a free will to mankind, let them chose what they think is right and make the decision, because God is the Lord of Mercy, He gives everyone chance to be saved. Now it is on everyone who listen and believe and act accordingly :) People who sat on streets did not know anything about the marriage except this, they had to attend the wedding, so they did, and those who had invitation they rejected it intentionally.
