Many people tend to think stories like this are rare. But it has been my experience that the children I work with almost always have a God-given gift. Some just take longer to reveal it than others. I remember one little boy that I worked with a few years ago who had an amazing imagination. Everyone who worked with him tried to get him to stop daydreaming/imagining and be "present in the here and now". While that was important, I told his mother not to dampen his ability to tell stories. He just might turn out to be the next Steven Spielberg!
