Masaru is a yummy, tricolor smooth fox terrier. He’s only around 1-year-old & he’s a lightweight of 35 pounds. He was found as a stray by someone who carted him off to the Manhattan shelter. In short order he managed to catch the shelter cold and therefore has been placed on tomorrow’s Kill List. Masaru seems to be a relatively mellow fellow although he’s recommended for an experienced owner without young children because he could show a little resource guarding; he simply gets worked up as terriers do when playing with a prized toy. He’s a good boy around other dogs & he behaves with admirable manners even around food. We think it would be a real shame to kill Masaru when his illness is so easy to treat. Will you help us introduce Masaru to some of the New Yorkers who might consider adopting him? Time is short so you’ll need to advocate for him right now.
